There is a fun Easter Egg Trail to get involved with courtesy of Lakeland Orienteering, it’s completely free, just download a map from their website, head into town and have fun with your family trying to spot the eggs hidden in shop windows around town!

There are plenty of cafes, that offer delicious treats and drinks that the whole family can enjoy. After a tasty treat, why not explore the nearby Kendal Castle, a historic landmark built in the 12th century, or take a stroll along the riverside and admire the stunning views of the River Kent? Swimming can be an enjoyable activity for the whole family, and Kendal Leisure Centre is the perfect place to do it. Sizergh Castle on the edge of Kendal will be hosting an Easter egg hunt on Good Friday, Easter Saturday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday.
