Enjoy a stroll down Stramongate and you will find the flagship Herdy store, Jules B fashion, Kendal Sports, Ophelia Lighting, Coolcraftin and our excellent fishmonger.

Continue across the river via Stramongate Bridge to Wildman Street, for more great quality independent and specialist shops.

You’ll also find Kendal Museum and the Quaker Tapestry Museum in this direction.

On Wednesdays and Saturdays, Stramongate is home to an excellent fruit and vegetable market stall.
