Families in Kendal are in for a treat this May half term when Westmorland Shopping Centre celebrates its 30th anniversary year with a free Mad Hatter’s 30th Birthday Tea Party!
On Wednesday 29th May from 11am – 4pm in the upper mall of Westmorland Shopping Centre, entertaining characters the Mad Hatter and the Queen of Hearts will lead families on a playful journey into the world of Alice and Wonderland. The free activities will include cupcake decorating, flamingo croquet, stories, party games and a treasure hunt!
Westmorland Shopping Centre Manager, Nick Pitt said, “We wanted to do something special to celebrate the centre’s 30th year so are inviting everyone to join us for a birthday party with a difference.”
“The centre has changed lots over the last 30 years, this year alone we have welcomed Toyland and Clarks to the centre and have announced exciting new plans for the future.”
“Our Little Explorers kids’ club has proved very popular and we are really looking forward to welcoming families to celebrate with us this May half term.”
