The Kendal Cycling Festival is set to take place on the 30th April and 1st May, and it promises to be a fantastic event for cycling enthusiasts and beginners alike. The festival will include various activities such as bike demos, a bike village, food and drink stalls, live music, and much more.

Highlights of the Kendal Cycling Festival include: bike demos, an open pump track, cycling themed talks, presentations and films, a cycle-powered music evening, demonstration bike rides on Stricklandgate, bike repair café, bike and cycling gear swap shop.
The festival is supported by Kendal Town Council and Kendal BID.

Kendal Walking Festival

The Kendal Walking Festival is the perfect event for those who love to explore the great outdoors on foot. The festival takes place from 6th – 9th May and includes a wide range of walks suitable for all abilities, from gentle strolls to more challenging hikes.

The walks are led by experienced guides who will take you on a journey through the beautiful landscapes surrounding Kendal. You’ll discover hidden gems, learn about the history and geology of the area, and enjoy stunning views along the way.

The 2023 schedule is now online and there are over 20 walks to choose from. The walks are graded so you can find your perfect Kendal adventure! and tickets are available for booking.
