The South Lakeland Equality and Diversity Partnership invite you to join them to celebrate World Interfaith Harmony Week (WIHW).
The World Interfaith Harmony Week provides a platform—one week in a year—when all interfaith groups and other groups of goodwill can show the world what a powerful movement they are. Allowing for these groups to become aware of each other, build ties and avoiding duplicating each others’ efforts.
The South Lakeland Equality and Diversity Partnership are supporting WIHW by holding two sessions at home every day during WIHW. These sessions will be at 7am and 7pm for half an hour.
The organisers welcome everyone to take part and encourage a reading of The Golden Rule. Taking part is free.
A retired 91 year old Roman Catholic Priest, Monsignor Francis Slattery, will be leading a session on Tuesday 2 February from 4 – 5pm.
All are welcome to participate from home knowing others will be participating in their homes at the same time. This is not an online meeting.
The aims of South Lakeland Equality and Diversity Partnership are:
