Here in Kendal we are surrounded by incredible scenery with spectacular cycling routes in every direction. To encourage more people to take up cycling, Kendal Cycle Club and South Lakeland District Council are providing free cycle sessions for adults who want to gain skills and confidence whilst cycling on the road. Sessions are open to new or experienced cyclists who want to learn how to cycle safely on urban and rural roads. Cyclewise will provide the training sessions, which will be done in groups of six. The sessions will cover Bikeability Levels 1, 2 and 3.

The sessions will take place on Saturday 19th June, 26th June, Saturday 10th July and Saturday 31st July.

Each event will run from 9.30am – 4.00pm starting at Kendal Leisure Centre.

You will need a well-maintained bike, helmet, appropriate kit, lunch and refreshments. The ride may include a cafe stop so you may wish to bring money.

Book a Saturday session or for further information, please email info@kendal.cc
