Get ready to paint the town with vibrant colours and joyous celebrations as Kendal gears up for its second annual Kendal Pride event!
From Friday 14 June to Sunday 16 June the town will be buzzing with a host of activities designed to celebrate diversity, inclusion, and love in all its forms.
We’re thrilled to share a HUGE array of events lined up for you. Whether you’re a local or visiting, there’s something for everyone to enjoy and celebrate the spirit of Pride.

🏕️ Pride Village

- Details: Explore a lively village with stalls, talks, entertainment, and family activities. It’s the heart of the celebration, filled with community spirit and fun.
🧑🎨 The Rag Tag Road Show
- When: Saturday, 15th June
- Where: Abbot Hall
- Details: Join the Rag Tag Arts team for a creative and interactive experience, perfect for all ages. Craft, create, and enjoy the artistic vibe.
🎬 Kendal Mountain Films
- When: Friday, 14th June
- Where: Brewery Arts
- Details: Kick off the weekend with inspiring films from the Kendal Mountain Festival. An evening of adventure and storytelling awaits.
🐶 Proud Pooches Dog Show
- When: Saturday, 15th June
- Where: Abbot Hall
- Details: Bring your furry friends to the Proud Pooches Dog Show. It’s a delightful event celebrating our canine companions.
🪩 The Festi-Ball

🧗♂️ Climb with Pride

- Where: Kendal Climbing Wall
- Details: Embrace the adventure with Climb with Pride. Suitable for all skill levels, come and conquer new heights.
🚴♂️ Ride with Pride
- When: Sunday, 16th June
- Where: Kendal gravel trails
- Details: Join the Ride with Pride on the beautiful gravel trails around Kendal. A perfect activity for cycling enthusiasts.
🕺 The Big Pride Party
- When: Saturday, 15th June
- Where: Bowness Brewery
- Details: The Saturday culminates with The Big Pride Party. Hosted by Kendal-based drag queen NOVA GINA and headlined by Britain’s Got Talent auditionee RUBY SINCLAIR, this event promises a night of fabulous entertainment and fun.
