From 1st July to 3rd September, Kendal BID present the eagerly anticipated 2023 Kendal Summer Trail.
This exciting event allows families to explore the local area while engaging in a fun-filled Safari Summer theme.
Go on a Safari Trail family adventure this summer to find over 130 Safari Animals in shop windows. 17 of these animals will tell you what their favourite thing is about Kendal, then see how many animals you can find in total.
Brought to you by Kendal BID and designed by Felltarn, the Kendal Summer Trail is back! A great way to entertain the kids and enjoy our beautiful town over the summer holidays. Download your trail map below, or pick up from one of the many locations listed below, and head to Kendal town centre to complete the range of fun activities. Start from anywhere on the map, and find all 17 marked locations – looking out for the Safari Animals in windows all along the way.
When you spot a numbered safari character (1-17) write or draw what their favourite thing about Kendal is into your trail map. As you follow the trail, count how many Safari Animals you find between the 17 plotted locations, and create a tally-chart in the space on the back of the trail map.
Once your trail is complete, fill out the competition form and drop it off at Booths Kiosk for your chance to win a £20 voucher. One prize will be drawn each week throughout the summer holidays.
The trail can be enjoyed anytime between 1st July and 3rd September 2023.
Trail Treats Are Back!
Whilst you’re looking for the Safari Animals, keep an eye out for the round Trail Treat signs in shop windows. Pop inside to meet our friendly business owners and pick up your trail treats.
