May Fest, hosted by Kendal Community Theatre, will take place in the town centre between 10am to 12pm on 25th May 2024,

Singers, dancers, musicians and actors will parade through the town from the Parish Church in Kirkland up to the Market Place and along Stramongate, telling stories as they go.

Instruments encouraged.

They will take on the role of ‘Green People’ and will invite passersby to join in, to sing and to parade.

Free ivy wreaths and green face paint will be given to everyone who turns up. Parade begins at Holy Trinity, Kendal Parish Church and finishes at the Town Hall.
