About

Unleash your wild side…

Join us for an evening celebrating adventure from some of the most spectacular places on earth, brought to you by the world’s biggest mountain Festival – Kendal Mountain Festival.

A chance to watch a selection of award-winning films from high altitude adventure to cinematically beautiful tales showcasing wilderness and adventure travel from across the globe. Each film will be introduced by the Kendal Mountain Festival team.

The Guest Speaker:

We will also welcome leading sports dietitian Renee McGregor to the stage to share her fascinating insights into the human body and nutrition. What we eat has a huge impact on our physical and mental health, and our performance in our chosen sport, whether we’re elite-level athletes or enthusiastic amateurs. Renee’s work touches on areas of sports nutrition in populations that are often overlooked, including women’s health and the menopause, healthy ageing, and the inclusion of individuals who don’t necessarily conform to the stereotype of an athlete, such as people living with chronic health conditions.

The Films:

Expect exhilarating and moving tales from those creating waves in the worlds of cycling, skiing, mountaineering, swimming and regenerative farming. These are this year’s Tour films…

The Water Holds Me / The Water Binds Us

Based on the stories of women who dip, dive and swim in rivers, lakes and seas, the film celebrates the power of water to wash away pain and fear and restore and revive our relationships with the natural world and each other.

Mbogi Amani

In the world of bike racing, there is one continent that’s yet to have its turn in the spotlight. A growing community of African cyclists is ready to show their strength on an international level. A game changing film following some of the top cyclists in East Africa. It’s time to change the face of cycling.

Enchainment
29’ New Zealand
A quest to enchain New Zealand’s 24 highest mountains above 3000 metres in a continuous 31-day push. A trans-alpine journey, from west coast jungle to high-alpine summits, traversing some of New Zealand’s most dramatic landscapes. But with the clock ticking down, fatigue mounting and storms arriving, would they be able to complete the project before their time, weather & luck ran out?

Write your Line
3’ France
As a kid, Ben dreams of reaching the level of his favourite athletes, who have become legends today. During his ski descent, he finds himself sharing his ride with the greatest. Digging For Answers

Jackson Hole Bike Park’s Deepest Darkest trail proves universal design makes better trails for everyone. Inspired by their mutual connection to Pierre Bergman, whose life was forever changed due to a biking injury, they created a universal trail design that not only brings flow, speed, and excitement to adaptive and non-adaptive riders alike but also strengthens the bond within the biking community.
