You're in for a treat

7TH ANNUAL CHARITIES CHRISTMAS TREE FESTIVAL

6th – 24th December | Kendal Parish Church

Support local charities and organisations and enjoy Festive celebrations at Kendal Parish Church. This annual Festival sees around 40 beautiful Christmas trees inside the church, each one representing a different charity who decorate them in their own unique style.

WESTMORLAND ORCHESTRA, CHRISTMAS CONCERT

Sunday 8th December | Kendal Leisure Centre

The Westmorland Orchestra will be joined by talented young musician Joo Yeon Sir for Glazunov’s violin concerto; the programme is varied and also includes arrangements of folk music as well as the Christmas classic Lieutenant Kije!

MAYOR'S COFFEE MORNING

The Mayor of Kendal is holding his annual Christmas Charity Coffee Morning on 22nd December from 9.30am – 12.30pm

FAMILY CHRISTMAS EVE AT BOOTLEGGERS

Monday 24th December 2018 | 2pm – 6pm | Bootleggers
Take the family down to Bootleggers on Christmas Eve from 2pm – 6pm for an afternoon of singing, mulled wine and a crackling log fire. Free entry and an opportunity to join in festive songs with Evie Plumb.

SHOWADDYWADDY - CHRISTMAS PARTY

Saturday 7th December | 7pm | Brewery Arts Centre
Get into the festive spirit with Showaddywaddy Christmas Party. The pop rock group from Leicester have been going 40 years strong now, bringing back the magic of the 50s and 60s as one of the greatest rock bands in history.

BALLOONATIVITY - CAROLS & THE CHRISTMAS STORY

Sunday 22nd December 2pm – 7pm | Ye Olde Fleece Inn

Gateway Church are hosting a family fun event with carols and the whole Christmas story told in balloons by Paul Curwen and music by John Wright!

CHRISTMAS TALES WITH GRANDAD - CHRISTMAS THEATRE SHOW

20th – 28th December | Brewery Arts Centre
‘Christmas Tales with Granddad’ – a show featuring a feast of festive stories, including a special pair of Christmas pants, the mystery of the snowflake necklace and the mischievous shenanigans of the Tomten – a feisty Gnome, who loves the chance to swap gossip with woodland creatures, and who might just be the reason Granddad can’t find his favourite tree decoration.
Suitable for 3yrs+ audiences and their families.

CHRISTMAS CEILIDH

Saturday 7th December 7.15pm – 11.15pm | Kendal Town Hall

Cumbrian Christmas Ceilidh with Tumbling Tom Big Band and callers Les Ord & Fiona Rigg. Free glass of mulled wine and a mince pie,

THE LIVE NATIVITY

Saturday 14th December | 12.30pm – 13.30pm | The Live Nativity

The event will start with a look round bethlehem, complete with sticker activities and stall holders to take photos with! The performance, including live animals.

CHRISTMAS WITH JOHN DENVER

Saturday 14th December | St Marks Church
Chris Bannister returns to Natland to perform the music and songs of John Denver with a Christmas twist. Chris has said that St Mark’s Church is his favourite venue and he has performed around the world. RIDDLE CASINO ROYALE

Sunday 22nd December | Castle Green
It's time to be both shaken and stirred as you join the super secret agents from MI4 on a mission to Montenegro to uncover a Spectre agent and steal the Maguffin Microchip from a Russian Spy.
Will you use your licence to thrill to solve this crime or when the chips are down will you be scuppered by the double talk and double agents?

JOHN DAWES

Wednesday 11th December | Fell Kendal
Jon is a Singer-Songwriter whom many will recognise from his work performing with the immensely popular Paper Cranes. However, Jon's new venture, fusing the everyman's acoustic guitar with the rhythmic ideology of a drummer, is a unique take on folk that warms the soul, all empowered by a passionate delivery. Set to be a skillful, heartfelt and uplifting show!
