The weather is giving us all the good feels at the moment, we don’t know about you but sunshine just makes us want to throw on something fun and get outside.
It’s been a strange year for us here at Elephant Yard but we feel so lucky to have so many wonderful customers who have shown us so much support since we reopened up all our stores. We really are like a family in our little yard and just seeing smiling and happy shop owners fills us with great joy.
Now to what is NEW in the yard…well, as you may have guessed we will be welcoming the wonderful Bob & Berts to the yard in the coming months and we CAN NOT wait. It will be so lovely to have new members of the family and we hear that the breakfasts are not to be missed. We are also welcoming House of Macaroons to the yard shortly, be sure to pop over and grab your sweet treats for the summer months!
Todds of Kendal always have the best brands in store but we couldn’t help but get excited when we noticed they now stock Joules dogwear! Of course the summer Barbour collections are also right up our street and they also have so many wonderful gifts for children and of course gorgeous homeware.
Another of our glorious local independents, AC Gallery, is looking so wonderfully summery at the moment, and of course as always they have such a huge range of art work, gifts and cards to suit any taste or preference. Plus, all AC Gallery team members are experts at what they do and always have the best advice and ideas.
Our favourite summer fashion stores, Peacocks and Next are really giving us the holiday vibes (staycations for the win!) and their beautiful selections of pretty floral dresses, cool shirts and cute kidswear means that we just can’t help going in for a look every time we walk past. Don’t forget to add sunglasses to the list of summer must-haves with another of our local independents, Bagots.
As usual our summer beauty can all be fulfilled by Boots who have been keeping us topped up on our essential SPF, sun cream, exfoliators and bronzers. They also have large selections of skincare options for both men and women, it is especially important to look after sun kissed skin, keep it mosturised!
Looking for some advice on travel plans this coming summer and next year? The wonderful peeps at Gates Travel are in the store every day to provide guidance on travel during the continued restrictions. Those guys have been such troopers, and always so friendly and welcoming.
We couldn’t end this little skip through our summer yard without mentioning the ice teas at Costa Coffee, they are BEAUtiful. So fresh and delicious, perfect for this time of year.
We have all safety procedures in across the yard and you can be rest assured that our stores take your health and wellbeing extremely seriously. We want you to feel at your happiest whilst shopping with us, and thank you for your continued support through these strange times.
