Founded in 1905, Kendal Rugby Club is a strong part of our community. The club has a wide range of teams including opportunities for seniors, juniors, minis and ladies.
In 2017, the team moved from it’s old Mint Bridge ground, to a new purpose built ground a short distance further up Shap Road. The new site covers 12-acres and offers both a grass pitch and an artificial pitch. An impressive balcony has been created, making the stadium a great place to watch our local teams play. If you would like to watch a local team in action, check out their upcoming fixtures.
The ground now also features a modern gym ‘Esteem’ which is open to seven days a week and offers great value memberships.
More than just a Rugby club! The new Mint Bridge stadium has been designed with the community in mind, and they will be running special events throughout the year, starting with a fireworks night on 3rd November 2017, Make sure you check out their website for hospitality and dining options.
