National Carers Week is an annual campaign to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges unpaid Carers face and recognise the contribution they make to families and communities throughout the UK. It’s estimated that unpaid Carers save the UK £132 billion each year, but taking on a caring role can lead to feelings of isolation, frustration, depression and can result in ill health.
The team at Carer Support South Lakes ask for your support in celebrating National Carers Week.
