Following the success of the 2017 Kendal Trails, Kendal BID are creating a series of new exciting trail activities for 2018.
The new trails will be arriving in July and will feature an activity trail for children and a food and drink map for adults to enjoy. Both will be available to download here on the Visit Kendal website or to collect from many shops and attractions around Kendal. Keep your eyes peeled.
The 2018 Children’s Trail
For the new Children’s Trail, Kendal BID are celebrating the RAF centenary with Ralph the RAF Ram. Ralph will be dropping letters out of his Spitfire across the town, ready for you and your children to find. Collect the letters and put them together to make words. These words can then be used to complete the Woolly Word-search, which you will find on your trail map. The perfect way to entertain your family over the summer holidays!
Following the installation of umbrellas across Kendal over summer 2017, for 2018, Kendal BID will be displaying an exciting array of giant woolly sculptures across Kendal town centre.
The 2018 Food & Drink Map
Alongside the Children’s Trail, a new Food and Drink Map is being created highlighting Kendal’s great offering. Did you know Kendal has cuisine from across the globe? Including Spanish, Greek, Thai, Jamaican and Japanese! The Food & Drink Map will be available to download here on the Visit Kendal website from mid-July, so gather your friends and get ready for tasty summer treat or two.
