What started as a lockdown project in February saw instant success with the weekly postal Brownie boxes being shipped out every week. As restrictions started to ease Martin Frickel took his business to Farmers’ Markets, Food Festivals and Christmas events and the brand has been growing ever since.
Kendal Farmers’ Market proves a popular market or the brand with customers coming back each month for Martin Frickel’s specialities: brownies, blondies, rocky road, cookies and chocolate brownie scotch eggs!
Martin has been a chef for 17 years working in the best Cumbrian restaurants including L’Enclume and Forest Side, with a strong pastry background he decided brownies seemed a good idea for a product that could be shipped nationwide without too many complications during the pandemic. The brand also offers vegan, dairy free and gluten free items available on request and you can contact them through Facebook and Instagram.
