Cable and Blake design, create and sell locally produced Herdwick fabrics, that have been inspired by the surrounding Lakeland landscape.
Fabric of the Lakes
Their fabrics are made from Herdwick wool, sourced from local farms and woven on traditional hand looms. The company combine traditional skills and industries to develop this undervalued wool into a high quality, bespoke fabric. Their unique designs and prints bring a modern twist to the Lake District heritage, as well as bringing value to the local community.
They have a Book of Bloom and a Book of Thought which showcase the fabrics. These books can be viewed in The Kendal store.
Alongside their fabric, the brand sell home furnishings and accessories including lampshades and bags. Their products are available to purchase online or in their Kendal store.
