17th June 2022
Event Navigation
Time: 10am - 5pm
Something in Common tells the story of England’s countryside and the peoples’ fight for Common Land. Displayed in conversation with major landscape paintings from the Lakeland Arts Collection including works from Sheila Fell, Ben Nicholson and L S Lowry, Fox’s stitched banners and tapestries highlight the importance of access to nature – a principal championed by the Arts & Crafts Movement’s founder, John Ruskin (1819-1900).
