🌸 Outdoor explore backpacks
Pick up an Explorer Backpack and follow our outdoor and indoor trails – spot wildflowers, listen for birds, and let your little ones become pirates for the day!

🎨 Crafty activities – inspired by nature
Get creative in our Learning Centre with watercolour painting and recycled fish-making using child-safe Makedo tools. Add your masterpiece to our community display!

📚 Storytelling by the Lake
Join us on Wednesday 28 May at 10:30am for magical tales inspired by the lake.

⚙️ Raise Dolly!
Help us solve a puzzle and save Dolly the steamboat from the waters of Windermere with our refreshed hands-on interactive challenge – a big hit with curious kids!

All activities are included with museum admission. No need to book – just drop in and enjoy a day full of family fun. Activities run 10am – 4pm from Saturday 24 May to Sunday 1 June 2025.

Children must be supervised at all times.
