About
40 visiting choirs from around the UK will be performing for free in a number of venues around Kendal including the Birdcage, Market Place, Brewery Arts Centre Gardens, Library steps, and outside various cafes including Waterside. A rota will allow each venue to have several different choirs performing throughout the afternoon.
The event is part of the Street Choirs Festival where upto 40 choirs – 900 singers – register to attend for the weekend and enjoy concerts, workshops, massed singing rehearsal and massed singing (all 900 singers together.)
