Kendal and the wider Lake District and Cumbria area offers some of the most spectacular and precious skyscapes in England and this February you have the opportunity to explore our dark skies with astronomers, astrophotographers, authors, filmmakers, lighting and design professionals, performers, poets and outdoor adventurers.

There are over 17 virtual dark skies events taking place in February, tickets cost as little as £3.50 and can be booked online.

The Festival aims to show the importance of our dark skies and encourage us all to protect them.
