Created in 1990 from an original recipe, Kendal Mint Cake Liqueur took inspiration from our legendary Kendal Mint Cake. You can sample it in the Made in Cumbria shop. This alcoholic liqueur blends the peppermint cake recipe and a hint of chocolate!

Staff of Life Bakery has been baking hand made artisan breads in Kendal since 1997. You’ll find them on Berry’s Yard where breads are based daily by hand. If you want to have a go yourself, join one of their regular baking courses.
You’ll find Lovingly Artisan next to Oxenholme Railway Station with their range of creative and tasty breads baked by Aidan Monks.
Drop by Al Strong’s Macaron Stall in the Westmorland Shopping Centre – open most Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Al’s fine Patisserie skills and passion for English seasonal produce makes these macrons worth a special trip.
