Tucked away on pretty Finkle Street, Bootleggers is one of Kendal’s major late night venues – with live music every Thursday, Friday and Sunday interspersed with ticketed gigs throughout the year.
From acoustic jam nights to reggae, folk nights to electronica – with the odd quiz night inbetween – Ruskins is a hidden gem on Kendal high street.
Kendal Leisure Centre hosts a range of classical music events throughout the year, as well as regular comedy shows and gigs. The Centre’s impressive concert hall seats up to 900 people and is home to Westmorland Sinfonia and Westmorland Orchestra. Many of the bars and pubs situated in and around our town host regular evening entertainment, including jam nights at The New Union, weekly jazz nights at The Factory Tap, folk sessions at The Ring O’Bells, intimate gigs at Fell Bar and gin tasting at Slate.
