Todds of Kendal is a long established family business trading, as the name suggests in Kendal, Cumbria for over 70 years.
Our history is as an equestrian retailer serving horse owners and riders from the Lake District, Cumbria and the North West with all their equestrian supplies from our extensive showroom and warehouse based on the Mintsfeet Industrial Estate at the northern end of Kendal.
With a huge range of clothing, tack, rugs, feeds, supplements and bedding from trusted top brand names, Todds is the place to visit for all your horse and riding needs. Our Brands include – Ariat, Airowear, Bridleway, Charles Owen, Dever, Dublin, NAF, Shires, Weatherbeeta & Woof, to name but a few! We also stock and sell a wide selection of dog and pet foods – a one stop shop for all your two and four legged friends.
We are delighted to still offer a traditional Saddle fitting service and are happy to travel out to your chosen venue & take much pride in making sure you and your horse have the very best fit for you both.
In 2014 we embarked on a new adventure & opened our “Country Store” in the fabulous Elephant Yard in the heart of Kendal town. We decided to focus on country lifestyle and living in this store and have a wonderful selection of top brands – Barbour, Dubarry, Le Chameau, Hunter, Ridgeline, Ariat & Wrendale Designs to name but a few.
We are also proud to hold our Cumbria roots tightly & stock the Beatrix Potter Peter Rabbit and Friends Collections which include the gorgeous Gund soft toys and the TV and Movie characters.
We are pleased to say we love being in the town centre and in Autumn 2019 opened a much larger store enabling us to stock wider ranges from these premium brands.
