Kendal Unity Festival

We’re proud that Kendal is a welcoming place for all who want to live, work, study or visit.

To celebrate diversity within our community, the second Kendal Unity Festival took place on Saturday 22nd June 2019 with music performances and entertainment from around the world taking place at Abbot Hall Park. The festival is set to return to Kendal on 20th June 2020.

The festival aims to:

– Support projects and initiatives to build community cohesion

– Promote mutual understanding and celebrate the diversity of people and cultures in Kendal

– Empower marginalised groups and communities living in Kendal by highlighting their issues as well as their contributions to the local economy and culture.
