On Friday 30 August, you’re invited to a very special birthday party!
Head to our bustling Market Place in the centre of town and celebrate 20 years of our wonderful farmers’ market.
Expect entertainment, live music, competitions and 30 food and drink stalls. From meat and cheese to fruit and vegetables, traders will be descending on the town from all corners of the county to sell their top quality local products.
The market will start at 9am and will finish at 3pm and there will be plenty for customers to feast their eyes on including The Magnificent Marshmallow Company, We’ve Gone Beans and Lentils, The StoneHouse Smokery, Cumbrian Pie Company, Mrs Kirkham’s Lancashire Cheese and Neville’s Nice Lollies.
