We are happy to announce our beautiful town has been selected as a Britain in Bloom Finalist for 2017

Kendal has been successfully selected as a finalist in the Large Town category in the prestigious Royal Horticultural Society Britain in Bloom competition. As a finalist Kendal is recognised as one of the cleanest, greenest and most beautiful places in the UK!

Kendal will be competing against 78 finalists and the results will be announced at a ceremony in North Wales on 27 October.

A huge thank you to all of the volunteers and businesses who are working hard to make our town a greener and pleasant place to live and to the Kendal in Bloom Committee who have encouraged communities, businesses and groups to take part in making Kendal a nicer place to live and work.
