Head into the town centre for refreshments at one of our family friendly cafes and browse the latest seasonal offerings in our wonderful shopping centres. This October half term keep your little ones entertained and visit Westmorland Shopping Centre, Kendal for a free Gruesome Halloween Kids’ Club!

Brewery October Half Term

Join illustrator Jenny Daymond for a fun day of art and design and create your favourite jungle animal.

Learn great tips to bring your illustrated character to life using mix media drawing and printing techniques. An opportunity to explore pattern, shape and textures and take home a professionally printed notebook to show to all your friends.

CrazyClimb

CrazyClimb

Indoor climbing with a difference at Kendal Climbing Wall. Experience CrazyClimb – a fun and wacky way to climb and get on the wall without the need for any tying of ropes or learning how to use complicated safety devices.  The TruBlue auto belay systems will get you safely up the wall and lower you softly to the ground, so all you have to do is concentrate on climbing! Kendal CrazyClimb sessions will run throughout the half term week and can be booked online.

Join paper artist Ellie Chaney to make a large shadow puppet of your favourite Halloween character before performing with these puppets behind a shadow screen. The performance will be filmed to create your very own shadow puppet film.
